Our Vision
College of Education Shaqllawa, as one of the foundations of Salahaddin University-Erbil, in the Shaqllawa region, aims to advance scientific and specialized educational methods. The vision of the college is based on establishing a scientific mechanism, enhancing the capabilities of both teachers and students, and producing an active educational workforce. Due to the region’s advantages and the significant potential of this field, the college aims to offer strong and diverse educational programs in areas such as education, technology, and scientific enlightenment.
College of Education Shaqllawa is a key step forward in progress. With international guidance and higher education, it strives to reach a higher level of service in education, as well as being a center for promoting science and writing new research.
Our Mission
College of Education Shaqllawa understands its primary mission as the development and training of skilled, specialized students in the field of education in a scientific manner. The college plays a crucial role in the development of intellectual, empowered, and cooperative individuals.
Main Goals:

Departments of Study:
College of Education Shaqllawa is made up of six departments, each specifically designed to train teachers and prepare an academic workforce in various scientific fields.
Our History
Our History
College of Education Shaqllawa has a new history, which was established in 2012 as part of the College of Education in Erbil. After two years, in 2014, it became an independent college and a significant part of the higher education system in the region. This college is divided into six departments:
- Kurdish Language Department
- English Language Department
- Arabic Language Department
- Biology Department
- Physics Department
- Physical Education Department
Each of these departments plays an important role in training specialized teachers and has a crucial role in enhancing both humanity and science education in the region.
